Free puppies!

We have 2 Doberman puppies left. We have decided to give them away to good homes. We have a blue/rust female and a black/rust male. These pics were taken 2 wks ago. They are 10 wks old now. The black/rust male is in the top left and bottom right, the blue/rust female is in the top right and the puppy laying down in the bottom left. They have the cutest personalities and love kids and other dogs. They are free but if their new owners want their ears cropped they have about 2 wks to do it. Complications already?

So, I'm already having problems with my pregnancy and I'm only 22 wks. I started having regular contractions Saturday night (the 8th) arounds 9pm. By about 1am I decided I'd better head to Labor & Delivery. They were about 5 minutes apart by then. Luckily I didn't dilate at all! It took two different meds to get them slowed down enough to go home and get some R&R. I got home around 8am. This whole time Mike was in Vegas, he was supposed to be headed to the Ranch for 4 days with his dad. He decided to head home around 7am. The doctor wanted to see me in his office on Wednesday (the 12th). I was still having contractions every so often. The doctor decided to put me on weekly injections of Hydroxyprogesterone in hopes of keeping me from going into preterm labor. I got everything in the mail today and between Mike and I we got the first injection done. IT HURT!!! The medicine is oil-based so its thick and I could hardly draw it into the syringe through the needle. The needles are 22 guage and 1 1/2 inch long. We didn't put the needle in all the way because my thigh isn't thick enough for 1 1/2 inches of needle, but it worked out okay. Anyway, that's what is new in our life at this point. Our baby girls name will be...

Camden Olivia!!! We have finally come to an agreement on her name. I am so excited! I can't wait to see her, I wish I was further along!

In Loving Memory...

Today our sweet Rosco has passed away! We are deeply saddened by this. He has been with our Family from the beginning. We bought Rosco when he was a puppy in May of 2002. He truly was a part of the family. We will miss him so much! Daisy and the 3 puppies we have left are extremely subdued. They are all laying in the spot that we found Rosco this morning. We are considering keeping one of the puppies. We'll see if we're up to it, we just added a hamster and a 55 gal. fish tank to the household. Anyway, we just wanted to let family and friends know. Bye!

It's a GIRL!!! and Lake Tahoe

We found out we're having a girl! I was so sure it was a boy, but nope. I am so excited! This totally explains the reason why I've been so sick and why I'm still sick. And its a little depressing because this means that I won't stop being sick for a while. A positive is that if she's premature, like Camryn was, she'll have a better chance of survival than if she were a boy. The kids are getting used to the idea. Mike is having a harder time adjusting. He was really hoping for another boy to even things out. We had already decided on a boys name and now we have to find a girl name that we can agree on. I'm happy that Camryn will have somebody close in age to play with. She's really going to struggle when the baby comes, she's used to being the baby.

Well, we just got back from Lake Tahoe late last night. We went there for a wedding. It was so freakin' cold! It got down below 30 degrees and it snowed for a while. There was a lot of ice on the roads. We had our Yukon XL in 4WD most of the time we were there. The condo's we stayed in were up in the mountains so Mike's parents and sister had to parks their cars halfway down the hill and we shuttled everybody up in our car. It was crazy, but we had a good time. It's always fun to see family!

Well I gotta get the kids and I some dinner, so bye for now!

Puppies will be 3 wks old tomorrow!

Just thought I would do a quick post about the puppies. They will be 3 wks old tomorrow! They are getting so big so fast. Their eyes are open and they are starting to play with each other. They try to bite each other and growl at each other. It's so funny to watch. Well, I gotta go. I'll do a post on the family in a few days. BYE!

The puppies are here!

Finally, they're here! She started at about 12:30 pm and ended around 7:30 pm. As you can see, there are 3 black ones and 2 blue ones. 2 of the black are males and 1 is female, and then there is 1 blue male and 1 blue female. Daisy did such an amazing job! I felt so bad for her, I'm glad I have them one at a time. Daisy has been so good with the kids, even Camryn. The kids really enjoyed watching. The downside is Tyler finally figured out where the babies come out. He's been telling everybody that he talks to, "the puppies came out of her pee-pee". Gotta love it! Anyway, I'll try to do another post when they get a little bigger. BYE!

Life!

Hello everybody. Well, we've had a few bumps in the road with this pregnancy but we're good now. About 4 wks ago I had a visit to the ER and was diagnosed with a Subcorionic Hemorrhage. Mike and I were so afraid that I was gonna lose the baby. I knew I was in good hands in the ER, they are an awesome group to work with. I was placed on bed rest, it sucked! My mom and sister came to stay with us to help with the kids and to cook some meals that we could put in the freezer, since we didn't know how long I would be on bed rest. Luckily, the bleeding and cramping stopped so I was taken off bed rest afer a week. So now I'm just trying to get through the sick part. I'm going crazy!!! I throw up multiple times each day and I just feel like crap. I'm 12 wks today so hopefully it won't last much longer.

More news, Daisy is gonna have puppies!!! I think she's gonna have them soon, too. We don't know exactly how far along she is. I could barely keep track of my own cycles let alone a dogs. At least they're purebred's and we can make some money. Tyler is a little upset that we can't keep the puppies, but 2 Dobermans is enough for one household. We need to get a website up and going so that we can sell them.

School finally started!!! Yeah!!! Tailor is in 2nd grade at Horizon Elementary. She loves her teacher, but the girl won't stop talking in class! I think she takes after me. Tyler starts pre-school on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd. He is so excited! I have never seen a child more excited to learn. I bought some educational workbooks at Staples for Tailor and Tyler. Tailor's are Math and Reading, she has to practice reading and doing math for 20 min. each everyday. She's not pleased with that. But Tyler's book is Numbers and Counting. He absolutely loves it. He reminds me each day to get it out so that he can work on them. He's even started sounding out words to tell me what letter a word starts with. I'm gonna start doing sight words with him that Tailor used to bring home in Kindergarten. We'll see how that goes. Any my little Camryn girl gets to stay home with mommy!

So, I'm a stay-at-home mommy again. I resigned from my position at the Hospital yesterday. I just can't work with how sick I've been. I don't know how long this will last either. With Tailor and Camryn I was sick the whole time. They were so understanding about it. They said to call them when I was ready to come back and they would hire me back, whether there was a position open or not.

I'm PREGNANT!!!

Hey everybody! Just wanted to tell everyone that I'm Pregnant! It's crazy. We are so surprised. We weren't even trying. I had to take two tests because I wanted to be 100% sure. The pregnant line popped up pretty quick and was a little darker than the control line. I'm not sure how far along I am 'cause I've been irregular. I'm thinking around 8wks, give or take, and I'm already sick. We're hoping for a boy! Our two girls are drama queens! The kids are excited, especially Tyler! Anyway, I'll try to do another post soon. Camryn's new haircut!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Camryn's new haircut! After Tawni finished I had Camryn look in the mirror and I asked her if she liked it, she said "I like it!". I thought it would be fun for all of us girls to have short hair for the summer.

Enjoying the warm weather!

We are loving the warm weather! The kids and dogs were getting stir-crazy inside the house last week. The evenings are so nice outside. Rosco likes to drink out of the fountain, as you can see. Camryn figured out how to spray the hose, she thought she was so cool! Tyler kept trying to take it from her but she wasn't gonna give it up. I made Mike take some pics of the kids and I so we could email them to my mother and mother-in-law. You can see that Daisy is almost as big as Rosco now. I'm happy about that because she is in heat and will probably get pregnant, once they get pregnant after their first it stunts their growth. I didn't want her to be small!
We went to Vegas this last weekend. Mike turned 32 on Saturday! We had a good time swimming with the kids at Grammy and Grandpa's house. Mike and his dad bought a Jeep on Saturday, for the Ranch. We brought it home for Mike to work on. He working on the tranny now. They got such a good deal! Mike loves having projects like this to do. So he'll be busy for the next little while.

Time to start blogging!

Everybody is blogging these days! I guess I better start too.
I have been working since October '07 in the ER at Dixie Regional Medical Center, as a Health Unit Coordinator. It's been a nice break from the stresses of being a stay-at-home mom. Mike is being Mr. Mom for now. We decided to trade for a little while. It's been a huge eye opener for him! He appreciates everything thing I do and doesn't question what I used to do during the day. I recommend that every wife should have their husband stay home with the kids full-time for at least a week.
Life is kind of crazy right now. Tailor is out of school for the summer. We are all going stir-crazy, even though we've been out of town a lot this past month. The weather is really warming up. My little brother has been staying with us for the past week. He has been a huge help with the kids. We took the kids to Jumpin' Jacks yesterday. If any of you live in this area you need to take your kids there. It is awesome! Even for the parents.
Anyway, I can't think of anything else at the moment. If anyone out there can help me figure out how to do a custom layout and how to invite people, please help me! I'm new to the blogging world. Bye!
